Mattress Discounters buys N.H. sleep shops

The article reports that Maryland-based Mattress Discounters has acquired New Hampshire retailer Mattress World. Mattress Discounters, which is led by its chief executive Steve Newton, has more than 130 shops and is the largest sleep shop chain in New England. It has opened a warehouse in Massachusetts which will serve as its distribution center.
