ABSTRACT
The article recommends the enforcement into law of the so called, the secret refund booth, as a strategy in mandatory publicity of contributions and refunds of individuals to campaign funds of political candidates in the U.S. The secret refund booth allows the Federal Election Commission to disclose the full amount of each contribution to the candidates and the public, while the donor is given a five-day cooling off period to refund his contribution.
