ABSTRACT
The article reports on the restrictions being faced by chemicals that are targeted for reduction or elimination under the United Nations Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants. These chemicals include pentafluorooctane sulfonate, pentabromodiphenyl ether and chlordecone. The review panel that will determine the chemicals to be banned or restricted is composed of scientists from 31 countries.
