ABSTRACT
The article reports on the results of the fourth annual business outlook survey by the Synthetic Organic Chemicals Manufacturers Association. It shows a strong expectation of a net increase in sales for 2006 among chemical manufacturers. There is an increase in the percentage of respondents who rated quality of goods from emerging-country suppliers as not as good as established market suppliers.
