ABSTRACT
The article discusses the difficulty of understanding vague verses or lyrics in a song. The vague verses or lyrics infer unclear illustration. They are also prone to apparent randomness that listeners try to incorporate into an actual circumstance. Several songs that have vague verses or lyrics are presented including "The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonite," by R.E.M. and "Smells Like Teen Spirit," by Nirvana.
