ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the impact of Toyota Corp. to the manufacturing industry of southwest Indiana. It was found out that the manufacturer has nearly billion-dollar investment and thousands of new jobs. Reports show that its success in the state has raised its prominence on radar screen development. In fact, its presence affects both local companies and firms in the state. It has generated harder-to measure benefits such as the Toyota Production System.
