ABSTRACT
The article presents information on a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system that was designed by Hammel Green and Abrahamson Inc. for the Discovery World building in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Hammel developed a mechanical system with a heat pump design. The system uses lake water to cool the building. Hammel was given the Advancing, Reinvigorating and Cultivating excellence in engineering award by the periodical.
