ABSTRACT
The author narrates his experiences while treating patients. He recalls the cases, which were assigned to him during his medical practice. He also sheds light on his behavior and mood at the time of his victories and defeats. He concludes by saying that after thirty years in the medical profession, he feels that the joy of discovery and the satisfaction of helping people seem to have become less important.
