ABSTRACT
The article reports on the impact of Microsoft Corporation's collaboration with Novell Inc. on their customers. The collaboration will result to an interoperability between Microsoft Windows and Linux. Aside from this, the transaction will enable Microsoft to deliver to customers SUSE Linux Enterprise subscription certificates. Customers, which include Deutsche Bank AG, Credit Suisse and AIG Technologies, will also benefit from the patent cooperation agreement and the road map for bidirectional virtualization solutions.
