ABSTRACT
The author reports that KeyCorp reported fourth-quarter earnings that were affected by one-time items relating to the sale of its nonprime mortgage business. However, some analysts said the company bucked an industry trend toward rising nonperforming loans. KeyCorp's chief risk officer, Charles S. Hyle, said the company is proactively managing risk.
