ABSTRACT
The article describes how to apply quantization to both audio and MIDI. Apple Logic Pro 7.2.1 has a particularly robust set of tools for moving the grid around. The grid should be aligned to a freely played audio or MIDI clip and tempo changes should be added to shift the grid lines in time. Step-entry and step-sequencing tools as well as tempo-synchronized effects can be used once an audio or MIDI clip is aligned.
