ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the growth in sales of the Restoration Hardware, a retailer of home furnishings, based at Corte Madera, California during holidays in December. The returns from company's retail and direct-to-customer segments recorded a gain of 22% and a 10.3% increase in same-store sales. Restoration Hardware projects returns of 34 to 44 cents per share in fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2006. The management is optimistic about gaining the market share while improving profitability.
