ABSTRACT
This article reports on a contract received by Northrop Grumman to outfit the North Atlantic Treaty Organization E-3 AWACS aircraft with its Large-Aircraft Infrared Counter-measures self-protection system. Deliveries are to start next year and be completed in 2009.
