The article reports on the 19th annual Hartford Ski Spectacular as the largest winter sports festival for people with physical disabilities held on December 3 to 10, 2006 in Breckenridge, Colorado. The event offered ski and race programs, youth mentorship, competitions and training to volunteer instructors which gave attraction to more than 600 participants. Kirk Bauer of Disabled Sports USA stated the event was the flagship winter sports events that offered opportunities for disabled athletes.
