ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the issue of illegal immigration in the U.S. Immigration officials arrested illegal workers at Swift & Co. meat-processing plants under false Social Security numbers. Several applications from U.S. citizens to fill the vacated jobs negate the argument for the need of a guest-worker program to fill unpleasant jobs that U.S. citizens allegedly do not want to do. Entry-exit tracking and border fencing are essential components of national security.
