The article focuses on U.S. navy commander Holloway H. Frost, who died in 1935. Frost was a designated naval aviator and the young officer was awarded the Navy Cross while serving in the Atlantic. His books "We Build a Navy," and "The Battle of Jutland," are still read by historians and mariners. During the World War II, the U.S. Navy named a destroyer escort as USS Frost to honor his contributions.
