ABSTRACT
The article deals with the state of news reporting on the Web site YouTube. YouTube is a free online hosting that offers a quick and easy way for citizen videographers to post whatever they shoot and with broadband access expanding, uploading video to the Web site is now as common as starting a Web log. However, the inclusion of news reporting in the Web site is questionable due to its accessibility. The site has placed limits on the length of video recordings that can be uploaded for free which was designed to prevent the YouTube from being used for hosting pirated movies.
