The article reports that the first course of the University of Surrey, England, in 2007 will be Advanced Digital Signal Processing, to be held during February 12-16. Starting at an introductory level, the course covers fundamental theory including the discrete Fourier transform, fast Fourier transform algorithms and progressing to digital filter design. The theory and applications of adaptive filters will also be covered.
