ABSTRACT
The article reports on the transformation of corner of 700 South and 200 West in Salt Lake City, Utah, into a mixed use condominium project to be known as Angelina's Corner. The total cost of the transformation is $6 million. The history of the site recalls a single mother named Angelina who ran the corner grocery store during the Depression and was referred to by residents as the Saint of 700 West. The corner's future will boast a townhouse structure and a condominium building.
