ABSTRACT
The article reports on the reduction in the carbon dioxide emissions expected by Haldex in 2006 through its manufacturing process in its Marion, North Carolina facility. The company's energy savings is a result of its effort of remanufacturing components instead of manufacturing new components. Haldex recycles metal castings, therefore all emissions associated with the process of creating and machining new castings are eliminated.
