The article focuses on the inception and music records released by the SugarHill Recording Studio which celebrated the 65th year of continuance. The company was started by Bill Quinn in October 1941 in Houston, Texas named as Quinn Recording. The article offers brief description on the company history, consolidation and mergers took place including the acquisition and renaming of the business enterprise by Huey P. Meaux.
