ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs on the motion picture industry in Asia. The 11th Pusan International Film Festival, held October 10 to 20, 2006 earned its moniker of largest film festival in Asia, as it opened in Busan, Korea. The Korean film industry will be participating in the American Film Market (AFM) in November 2006. The AFM will also see the largest delegation of Chinese film executives ever to visit the festival, according to Tiedong Zhou, president of China Film Promotion International.
