The article explores the efforts of armies and defense companies to improve the precision of guided bombs and warheads. A Hardened Surface Target Ordnance is being developed by the U.S. Air Force for use against multi-storey targets and relatively soft bunkers. The Wind-Corrected Munition Dispenser from Lockheed Martin gives an accuracy of 26 meters regardless of weather. The capabilities of the Jdam series of guided bombs from Boeing are outlined.
