ABSTRACT
The article discusses the enforcement strategy taken by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and the Ohio Attorney General to target companies that do not provide assurances to consumers about information protection. The case involving BJ's Wholesale Club, Inc. wherein the company failed to provide adequate protection for customer's credit and debit card information resulting to millions of dollars to be fraudulently charged to customer's accounts is presented.
