Jazz community bids farewell to Scotty

Scott was born in Harlem, New York and was known as a road manager with trumpeter Clark Terry and drummer Roy Haynes. He spent most of his life touring with jazz musicians such as Sam and Dave and the Fat Back Band. Scott died of stroke at the age of 54.
