ABSTRACT
The article discusses the author's experience of witnessing an all-purpose civil war battle at Tuckertee Ridge in the U.S. During the battle, Rosecrans was suffering from a grave shortage of pontoons. The battle ended when the dynamite charges were detonated panicking the people in Warrenton Turnpike.
