The article informs that the U.S. Court of Appeal has denied a High Court decision reinstating planning permission for an opencast mine at Ffos-y-frân in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. Advocates, welcoming the decision, stated that the decision would provide an enormous economic benefit for the local area.
