The article reports that Lagardere SCA has announced to purchase top European sports agency Sportfive for an enterprise value of $1.1 billion. The acquisition continues Lagardere's expansion into the sports industry. Sportfive was put up for sale by its principal shareholders RTL Group SA, private equity group Advent International Corp. and Goldman Sachs Capital Partners.
