ABSTRACT
The article discusses the works of photographer Carl Heilman II. Heilman moved the Adirondacks in 1973 and has been to working to meld his passion for wildness into his landscape photography ever since. He has won several awards and his work has graced the pages of Outside, Adirondack Life, Conservationist, and National Geographic Adventure. He has written two books titled The Adirondacks, and Our New York.
