ABSTRACT
The article highlights the reluctance of some wireless operators in the U.S. to adopt caller identification (ID). Tom Kershaw, vice president of database services at VeriSign, believes that there is a high benefit waiting for wireless carriers that offer caller ID. It is said that Comverse is offering application to approximately 100 carriers that provides information about callers.
