The article reports that according to a survey of 65 retailers in the U.S., sales of chain stores in the country increased by 3.2 percent in February 2006 compared to February 2005. The survey was conducted by the International Council of Shopping Centers. Sales of Costco Cos. Inc. increased by 8 percent during the month.
