The article features Polish-born George Sherry who was a senior interpreter in the United Nations Interpretation Section. He would be transferring out of interpretation to the Executive Office of the Secretary-General to work on political affairs under Ralph Bunche. Sherry posses an incredible linguistic gifts and dexterous voice. His personal background, his career as an interpreter, and his life in the U.S. are also discussed.
