ABSTRACT
The article discusses the author's experience of performing an act of heroism by saving the life of an 84-year-old woman named Nan from fire. He is wondering what help could he provide as a blind man since infancy when his neighbor Debbie asked for his assistance for her mother. He says that he wanted to thank Nan and Debbie for making him realize his worth.
