ABSTRACT
The article reports on the acquisition of the shares in Dutch distributor Bax Chemicals by Israel's Gadot Chemical Tankers and Terminals for an undisclosed sum. According to Gadot deputy general manager Mati Johananoff, Bax has a good stronghold with its clients in western Europe, and an export geography that complements their own. Bax Chemicals supplies more than 160,000 tonnes/year of chemicals to the synthetic processing and pharmaceutical industries, and ink, paint and lacquer manufacturers.
