ABSTRACT
The article features major restructuring project of the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic) known as Chemistry for Europe which aims to improve effectiveness of industry representation within the continent. According to Cefic managers Judith Hackitt and David Zaruk, the project will enable the trade association network to adapt better to the inevitable changes to come. The project's guiding mantra includes the principles of transparency, efficiency and one voice. Action plans included in the project are presented.
