ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the career and interests of disc jockey named DeKoven, who presides over local radio programs in New York City. He claims that most of his regular listeners not only keep in constant touch with him by mail but also render their time and money as sponsors for his radio programs. His programs include "DeKoven Presents," aired on WNYC and "Vivaldi Revival" and "The DeKoven Concert," on WRFM. He dislikes attending concerts and believes that they are just anachronism.
