Cognis Q3 profits up by 48%

This article looks at the increase in third-quarter operating profits posted by Cognis in 2006. It is attributed to strong growth from functional products and the nutrition and health business. According to German speciality chemicals group Cognis, excluding foreign currency effects, adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation was up by six percent, with organic sales growth up by 8.5%.
