The article focuses on the consideration of industrial products companies to outsource goods and services globally. The impact of global sourcing on profitability can be satisfying. Some companies decided to outsource globally to take advantage of low-cost production opportunities and boost revenues from developing markets. There are some of them that outsourced the management of all indirect materials to dedicate purchasing resources to more direct material oriented programs.
