ABSTRACT
The article features the Pepsi Bottling Group, the largest bottler of Pepsi-Cola soft drinks and one of the top-performing beverage portfolios in the international beverage industry. This Somers, New York-based company is responsible for the distribution of more than half the Pepsi-Cola products sold in the United States as well as 40% of its worldwide volume. A new initiative being implemented by the company called Customer Connect introduced changes in sales and production forecasting. INSET: Efficient and accurate order-building.
