ABSTRACT
The article presents Michael Burns' experience of 78,00 miles solo camping through 48 states and the provinces of Canada. Burns, who is totally dependent on a manual wheelchair, has followed numerous routes and roads with his van. He states that the web site of the Department of Natural Resources of Canada offers information on the state one wish to travel. He also suggests making reservation in state park, if the state has such a policy.
