The article offers information on certain ways to reduce stress related to interferon injections needed for treating of multiple sclerosis. A warm and secluded area should be selected for injecting to reduce anxiety. Evening is the best time for injecting. Confidence in injecting reduces nervousness. Intake of pain relievers, namely acetaminophen and ibuprofen, a few hours before the injection can reduce the pain and flu-like effects of interferons.
