ABSTRACT
The article presents information about the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival that was held in Rapid City, South Dakota, from October 16-22, 2006. Of the selected winners, 13 veterans used wheelchairs for mobility. These veterans came together to perform their talents and display their art in the festival. Through their performance, they demonstrated the healing power of the arts in their lives. INSET: Festival Facts.
