ABSTRACT
The article focuses on rental growth in London, England for the fourth quarter of 2006. The fringe markets are likely to be less successful compared with the third quarter, but London's city core and midtown are shaping up well. The 105,970 square-foot deal of UBS at the Broadgate Estate has helped to boost take-up in the city. Rents for new-build space are soaring, with the average almost £ 90 per square foot, but all other grades remain closer to the £ 50 per square foot mark.
