ABSTRACT
The article reports that the game of tag at Willet and McCarthy elementary schools in Massachusetts has been banned. Some school officials say that recess is safer without the game. The game often led to pushing and fighting at Freedom Elementary School in Cheyenne, Wyoming. On the other hand, others think that banning the game goes too far, according to Rhonda Clements, a physical education teacher, who also said that children should be able to choose whom they play with and what they play.
