ABSTRACT
This article reports that Delta Air Lines is considering a review of its media buying account as of October 1999. Zenith Media Services currently handles media buying for Delta. Delta mulls a review between Zenith, Starcom Worldwide and Western Initiative Media Worldwide. Western may be the favorite in this race, thanks to the firm's huge infrastructure, according to one media-shop executive familiar with the situation. None of the three media shops would comment on the Delta situation. The Delta agency changes are driven by its vice president of consumer marketing Martin White, who joined the company last year from US Airways.
