ABSTRACT
The article discusses broadway actor Tom Hulce making the transition in becoming a broadway producer. Hulce's first production will be the musical "Spring Awakening," which involves patrons seated onstage and cast members often standing face forward, concert style, as they sing their power-pop songs. In Hulce's next project, which is untitled, he plans on imploring the same stylistic device of infusing the audience into the show and giving it a more concert type of feel.
