Croda buys Uniqema

The article reports on the announcement by ICI India about the sale of its Uniqema business to Croda International Group for Rs 260 crore. Uniqema manufactures and supplies base oleochemicals and specialities which are applied as additives in consumer care markets. ICI director M. R. Rajaram cites that the company is assessing different options to obtain better value for shareholders. It is expected that the sale of Uniqema will provide a significant impact on its sales growth.
