ABSTRACT
The article reports that the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) is heading for broadband applications in the U.S. The Public Safety Broadband Trust will be the single licensee to receive license for the nationwide block. To create a public safety wireless network, a resolution was approved by the board of directors of IAFC to allocate 30MHZ of spectrum in the upper 700MHZ.
