Guideposts;Oct2006, Vol. 61 Issue 8, p40
The author tells the story of how an autistic high school student, Jason, helped the high school basketball team he coaches win the last home game of the regular season. Jason was not really on the squad, he was the guy who handed out water bottles to the players. It could be the last game of Jason's career so he decided to let him play in the last 5 minutes of the game. After a few missed shots, he was surprised to see how Jason scored multiple three-point shots making him the game's leading scorer.
