ABSTRACT
The article reports on the selection of Philip Turner, the vice president of Avalon Publishing Group, to head Sterling Publishing in New York City. Turner will direct Union Square Press, an imprint devoted exclusively to narrative nonfiction, on January 15, 2006. Turner will also aid in creating a Union Square Press paperback program that will focus on revivals of significant out-of-print books, paperback originals and reprints in trade paperback of both its own and other publishers' titles.
